On April 17th, 2008, the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center and the Lundquist College of Business will present the 2008 Sports Business Woman of the Year Award to Donna Lopiano, President of Sports Management Resources and former Chief Executive Officer of the Women’s Sports Foundation.
The awards ceremony is part of the 11th Annual Women in Sports Business Symposium, to be held at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon. The Symposium is a forum for students and industry leaders to interact, educate, celebrate and honor women in sports business.
Past award recipients include Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner of World Team Tennis (WTT), Ilana Kloss, former President of the WNBA and current President of USA Basketball, Val Ackerman, and former VP of Marketing at ESPN, Lee Ann Daly.
